Gelato Messina Has Released An Icecream Easter Egg Range And YUM!

By Krisinda Merhi April 2, 2019

Easter egg calories don’t count.

If you’re Christian, ‘The Holy Trinity’ probably refers to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

If you’re a foodie it could refer to a lot of different things.

Toast, bacon, and eggs.

Wine, cheese, and crackers.

Garlic bread, pizza, and pasta.

The possibilities are endless. So endless that Gelato Messina has created their very own Holy Trinity: icecream easter eggs.

The heavenly range (let’s see how many puns I can sneak into this article, shall we?) is created from some of Messina’s most popular icecream flavours and they look cracking.

But don’t take our word as gospel, have a read of the flavours yourself:

Layers of coconut gelato, raspberry gel, coconut and chocolate dacquoise (dessert cake), milk choc parfait and dipped in red choc glaze and desiccated coconut.

Did someone say eggs-quisite?

A gluttonous Italian eggy filled with Italian nougat + chocolate honey gelato and a pistachio fudge ‘yolk’.

Sounds divine.

Filled with gelato that has been cooked with large holy chunks of toasted and spiced buns, the centre is filled with gooey dulce de leche and coated in a milk choc glaze.

Nothing says Easter quite like a Hot Cross Bun.

The eggs are quite big too; the full set serves three to nine people, depending on your appetite, and are best served cracked.

You can get your hands on the unbeatable range for just $79. It also comes in a custom branded box which means you won’t have to fuss about presentation.

Only limited numbers are available at selected stores, so you better get in fast or you’ll be beat(en).

Last one there’s a rotten egg.

PRICE: set of three for $79 / SERVES three to nine.

The Holy Trinity limited edition eggs are available to order now for collection between 18 - 22 April at stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra. Visit for the full list of participating stores.
