Baci Cupcake

Baci Cupcakes

Dress up the humble chocolate cupcake with something a little special for a divine treat or a simple after-dinner dessert.


8 Baci® Perugina®

170 g butter

142 g caster sugar

142 g flour

2 eggs

1 teaspoon baking powder

4 table spoons whipped cream

4 Baci® Perugina® and a punnet of fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)



Pre-heat oven the 160°C

Mince the Baci® Perugina® finely and place in a bowl.

Melt the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave.

Remove melted butter from heat and add the sugar, the flour, minced Baci® Perugina® and the eggs mixing well.

 Add the baking powder and mix thoroughly.

 Pour in 4 cupcake paper molds.

Cook at 160°C for 30 minutes.

Once removed from oven, allow cupcakes to cool.

Once cool, decorate with whipped cream – if desired lightly sprinkle some extra minced Baci® Perugina® over the whipped cream and serve with some fresh raspberries on the side.
