Baci Tiramisu

This chocolately-nutty twist to Italy’s favourite dessert will be sure to impress.

The best part? It’s super easy to make!

4 individual Baci® Perugina®

284 g ladyfinger biscuits such as Savoiardi

1 cup cold dark coffee (choose a good quality coffee like Piazza D’oro)

225 g mascarpone cheese

2 egg yolks

2 tablespoon caster sugar

Strawberries and cocoa powder to decorate

1 x dessert tray (such a glass baking tray)

Prepare your cup of black coffee, set aside to cool (do not add milk)

In a bowl work whisk the sugar with the eggs.

Finely chop your Baci® Perugina® finely and mix into the  mascarpone mix and then set aside in the refrigerator.

Pour coffee into a shallow bowl that will allow you to soak your ladyfinger biscuits in.

Take your ladyfinger biscuits and lightly soak each side in the coffee.

Line the bottom of the glass baking tray with a layer of soaked biscuits and top with a layer of the marscapone- Baci® Perugina® cream.

Repeat with another layer of biscuit and cream until ingredients are finished.

Keep refrigerated for at least 2 hours (best made day prior if possible)

To serve:

Before serving, sprinkle the surface with cocoa powder and decorate with slices of strawberries.
