Julia Roberts Had The Best Reaction To Her Emmys Snub

By Christina Cavaleri July 17, 2019

Take note GoT fans.

The 2019 Emmy Award nominations were announced today and not everyone is as happy as Joey King.

Game of Thrones fans are furious that the show received a record-setting 32 nods for it’s eighth and final. Yes, you read that correctly - they're mad.

Mainly because the final season was such a let down for them that they disagree with giving the show any accolades. How mature.

“Emmy folks nominate the series finale of Game of Thrones, possibly the worst episode in the whole series, for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series,” one fan said on Twitter.

Another said, “LMFAOOOO THE GAME OF THRONES SERIES FINALE GOT AN EMMY NOMINATION FOR OUTSTANDING WRITING. The #Emmys are a F–ING JOKE”

FFS get over it.

None of them are thinking about the talented actors that got snubbed by the Emmys.

One of which is America's golden girl Julia Roberts who, if we say so ourselves, is taking her snub a whole lot better than the ungrateful GoT fans.

We expected to see Julia's name among the Outstanding Actress contenders for her first lead role in a TV show, Homecoming. But unfortunately, she was left off the list.

Instead of whinging about it on Twitter, Julia laughed off the snub posting a screenshot of a news alert she received with the caption:

"Well, I’m in exceptional company at least."

She could have gone all Pretty Woman on the Emmys and quote herself:

“Big mistake, HUGE.”

But no, Jules is all class.

The 71st Emmy Awards will be held on Monday, 23 September.
