The reason Meghan and Harry skipped Kate Middleton's birthday

Is this proof of bad blood?

Another day, another headline about the rumoured feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle -- we're sorry to say.

This time, the Internet has itself in a flurry over the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not in attendance for the Duchess of Cambridge's 37th birthday party.

As news.com.au reports, Middleton threw a lunchtime bash at Anmer Hall with her family and closest pals. Prince Harry and Markle were nowhere to be seen.

Many Royal obsessives have been quick to assume that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's choice to miss Kate's celebration could be read as proof of the supposed rift everyone likes droning on about, however, it seems a much simpler explanation is behind the drama.

Hello magazine has reported that Prince Harry and Markle are actually away on holiday. It's said they did the same in 2018.

While we don't know where the couple has jetted off to, we can all agree that being unable to attend an event because you're not in the country it's being held in is a pretty fair excuse.

Moving on...
