We have an answer about Trump’s invite…

OMG, guys. We’re just over one month away from the wedding to end all weddings! While we’re only a normal level of excited and definitely aren’t creepily counting down to the event, we've got to say, we're really looking forward to the big day.

Today, news.com.au has shared another update on the guest list for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s special day and we finally have an answer to the will they, won’t they question of one President Donald Trump

If you’re not up to date on your serious politics (meaning, wedding guest lists) let us catch you up.

Harry is fairly close with Former US President Barack Obama after having attended a number of charity events with him. It’s assumed that Harry and Meghan would like to invite the Obamas to join them on their special day, but there’s an issue.

You see, neither Harry nor Meghan have a relationship with Trump. Which would suggest they aren’t keen on inviting him. But there are concerns that if Obama nabs an invite and Trump doesn’t, egos may be bruised.

Today, a spokesperson for the royal pair has released a statement on the guest list, sharing that no political leaders will be invited, just friends (which could include the Obamas), colleagues and family:

“It has been decided that an official list of political leaders — both UK and international — is not required for Prince Harry and Ms Markle’s wedding,” news.com.au reports a spokesman said.

“Her Majesty’s government was consulted on this decision, which was taken by the royal household.”

Other interesting names that have reportedly made the list include the Spice Girls, Elton John and Prince Harry’s exes Cressida Bonas, Chelsy Davy and Ellie Goulding.
