Meet your new hero.

Helen James is a national treasure.

Like many mums, the 33-year-old is a proud Kmart fan and has proven this by sharing her favourite purchases to the Instagram account, i_heart_kmart. The Melbourne local regularly showcases Kmart bargains and stylish arrangements but today, she has just out-Kmarted herself.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, James revealed how she made her home look luxe for less, styling her whole house for just $500.

“It's just so accessible to everyone to be able to give a space in their home a fresh look without breaking the bank,” Ms James told FEMAIL. “A new cushion, a candle... You can spend as little as $20 but walk away with three or four things that can transform a room.”

The popular Instagrammer has broken down the cost of two key rooms, a child’s bedroom and – pièce de résistance – the master bedroom.

Here’s her breakdown:

Little Girls’ Bedroom:

12 piece decoration pack - $12

Harlequin quilt (small) - $14

Knit blanket throw - $14

Quilted geo cushion - $8

Unicorn ballerina - $9

Storage bookcase - $25

Pink dipped stool - $12

Apple night light - $9

James also recommends shopping the entire store, not just the homewares section:

“Kmart are really good at making sure their pieces complement each other,” she explains. “You can buy a pot from the garden section, a candle from the homewares section and a journal or notebook from stationery and find that they all work really well together thanks to colours and textures.”

She’s also a big fan on adding a splash of green:

“Greenery also makes everything look good. Whether it be faux or real, adding a plant to a coffee table or book can bring a new lease of life to a room.”

We don’t know about you, but we don’t need much more of an excuse to get shopping.
