All hail the Queen of country!

It was only last week that Dolly Parton, was honoured as the Grammy’s 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year for her illustrious recording career and philanthropic work.

Parton is the first country artist to receive the accolade in the tribute’s 29-year history.

The 73-year-old icon took to the stage at the 61st Grammy Awards in LA on Sunday night (local time), dazzling the creme de la creme of the recording industry with a medley of her greatest hits.

Magnificent in a sequined white dress, the Queen of country was joined on stage by stars Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves - who later won Best Country Album for Golden Hour - kicking off with one of Dolly's greatest hits, Here You Come Again.

Of the roughly 3,000 songs Parton says she has written throughout her career, Jolene is among the most loved and embraced beyond the country community.

Joined on stage by goddaughter Miley Cyrus, their glass-shattering duet of the iconic tune had the audience enthralled, clapping and singing along, with Korean superstars BTS spotted joining in the chorus.

Finally, Maren Morris came out to help the singers perform After the Gold Rush, and Little Big Town joined the stage for a roaring rendition of 9 to 5.

Parton has taken home a total of nine Grammys throughout her career and can boast a whopping 41 Billboard Top 10 country albums.
