"What about Isabella and Conor?"

Fans have slammed Nicole Kidman following her Golden Globes acceptance speech in which she gushed about her two youngest daughters, Sunday Rose, nine, and Faith Margaret, seven. Despite touching the crowd with her speech, many fans criticised the star for not mentioning her adopted children, Isabella, 25, and Connor, 22, who she shares with Tom Cruise.

The actress won the award for Best Actress for her role in Big Little Lies and also went on to thank husband Keith Urban, her mother Janelle and sister Antonia. She started the speech acknowledging how early in the show she won her award:

"First cab off the rank, yikes. Thanks. That means my daughters are still awake so Sunny, Faith, I love you, I'm bringing this home to you babies."

Social media wasn't impressed with the fact the actress failed to mention her two eldest children:

However, News.Com.Au reports there's speculation the reason Nicole doesn't speak about Isabella and Connor is due to her divorce with Tom Cruise and the fact he's a member of the Church of Scientology. Both Isabella and Connor are believed to have been brought up with the faith and Nicole has refused to talk about the religion or her family ties in recent years.

The closest Nic has gotten to speaking about them was when her film Lion was released and she said, "This movie is a love letter to my children." In the film, Nicole is the mother of an adopted son who searches for his biological mother.
