Would you watch it?

Jerry Seinfeld has hinted that he'd be keen for a Seinfeld reboot while appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show after the host asked him if he thought it could happen. Without hesitation, the comedian responded, "It's possible!" In response to the audience's cheers, he said, "Oh, they like the idea."

Previously, when asked the same question, Seinfeld has said he had zero interest in rebooting the show. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter in 2016, he said, "We did have an offer – I won't say who from – to do a new, live episode of Seinfeld on TV." Adding that he politely declined.

He also spoke about it in September last year, telling Entertainment Tonight:

“Maybe it’s nice that you continue to love it instead of us tapering with something that went pretty well."

As you can imagine, people on social media have thoughts about the potential reboot:

We have no idea why Jerry's changed his tune after all this time, but I reckon he should just leave it alone!
