Meghan Markle always packs this $7 Aussie product when travelling

Crazy good!

Look, we’ve been low-key obsessed with Meghan Markle for a while now; she’s an activist, former lifestyle blogger and stellar actress, what’s not to love?

So when we learned about everyone’s favourite royal-to-be’s favourite cheapie beauty buy, we had to say something.

Had to.

The former Suits star is reportedly a die-hard fan of tea tree oil when travelling:

“The one thing that I cannot live without when I’m travelling is a small container of tea tree oil,” she told Allure in a 2014 interview (it was buried, what can we say).

“It’s not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it’s my little cure-all,” she said.

“It’s inexpensive, it’s small enough to carry on, and I bring it with me all the time.”

And the best part? Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of a myrtle tree species called Melaleuca alternifolia native to Queensland and NSW. And thanks (for once) to close proximity, we can grab it for as little as $7.

Benefits are close to endless with the little oil used as insect repellant, antiseptic ointment and to combat acne, nail fungus, skin inflammation and more.
