As a public figure, Meghan Markle is probably used to getting called some not-so-flattering names, but as a member of the royal family, she's perhaps not so used to being called those names in person.

The Duchess of Sussex was meeting rest home residents when pensioner Peggy McEachrom said, "What a lovely lady you are... May God bless you."

She also added, "And you're a fat lady!" in reference to her baby bump.

Luckily, Meghan found it quite funny and had the best reaction, responding, "I'll take it."

McEachrom also predicted Meghan and Prince Harry will be welcoming a baby boy:

“Glad to see you so well. You’ll soon be having a little baby boy!”

“Oh, you think it’s going to be a boy?”

“It’s a surprise. We don’t know what we’re having. I ask everyone what they think, and everyone has a very strong opinion about it.”

The former actress was meeting residents who have been helped by dog charity, Mayhew, which she was made Patron of last week.

Meghan had two rescue dogs before moving to London with Harry, but was only able to bring Guy across with her, while her other pup, Bogart, was adopted by one of her friends.

Since getting married, Meghan and Harry have gotten their own dog together and while they have kept the dog's name a secret, Meghan did reveal the new dog was a "she".
