Meghan Markle once wrote a blog about becoming a princess years ago

Is she psychic?!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s romance is the stuff of fairy tales, and it turns out that the actress had always hoped she’d one day be a princess.

In a blog post for her former website The Tig, Meghan wrote that she always wanted to be a princess as a little girl.

However, probably not the kind of princess you may expect. She wrote:

"Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power. For those of you unfamiliar with the '80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man, and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength. We're definitely not talking about Cinderella here.”

She even mentioned Kate Middleton and the hysteria that surrounded her when she became the Duchess of Cambridge in 2011:

"Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”

The blog post was all about an interview she did with Princess Alia Al-Senussi, who was exiled from Libya after dictator Gaddhafi took over in 1969.

She admitted she had a “pinch-myself-I’m-emailing-with-a-princess” moment while speaking with the Princess.

Since marrying into the Royal family in May, Meghan has proven she’s unlike any other member of the royal family as a proud feminist who is fighting for gender equality.

No doubt there’ll be many young girls who will see Meghan as a role model in their lives.
