Hollywood’s golden girl Rita Wilson is heading Down Under.
The country rock superstar will make her Sydney Opera House debut on the 7 March for an intimate, one-night-only performance of her new album, Halfway to Home.
Best known for her acting career in Sleepless in Seattle, The Good Wife and Girls, Rita’s musical career has skyrocketed overseas.
She said performing on the Opera House stage has long been a dream of hers.
“It’s an absolute dream to perform at the Sydney Opera House! I’ve never been to Australia before, so I’m thrilled to be able to perform at this iconic venue, in this beautiful country. It’s going to be so much fun!”
Rita will be performing songs from her catalogue including her brand new album, Halfway to Home.
Halfway to Home is the second installment in a three-part series looking at our human ability to dig deep, explore and reflect. The album is a manifestation of Rita’s view that we all keep growing and changing, whether we intend to or not.
