These pictures prove once and for all the truth behind Prince Harry's parentage

Unless you've been living under a thoroughly insulated rock, you'll have heard whispers about whether or not Prince Harry truly is Charles' son.

The story goes that Lady Di had a cheeky affair with her riding instructor, James Hewitt who had the flamin' red hair her hubby Charles did not.

Diana herself admitted in a 1995 interview that she had indeed had an affair with James in 1986, two years after Harry was born.

"It was never her intention to fall in love with me, and it was certainly not my intention to fall in love with Diana, but it happened because of the circumstances throwing us together," James admitted in an interview years later.

Despite the fact Diana claims she didn't even meet James until after Harry was born, rumours been churning since the 90s.

And we gave them a little spin ourselves, who couldn't help delve into such a mystery?

Well, no longer folks.

We've just found images that prove the likeness between Harry and his father Charles.

Feast your eyes on a 1970s Charles... with a beard:

That's a little ginge in ol' Charlie's beard.

And mystery solved!*

*Mystery actually solved in 2017 when Diana's butler Paul Burrell essentially said, 'yeah, but the Spencer's have red hair so what are you on about?'
