So Frenchy So Chic Festival returns to Melbourne and Sydney

By Christina Cavaleri October 10, 2017

Melbourne and Sydney we’re getting our favourite French festival again, ‘So Frenchy So Chic’.

Yes, that’s exactly right, you'll pretty much be in Paris, minus the thousands of dollars spent on flights. It's a win-win.

Think all things French; baguettes, berets, picnics, and the best of all… cheese.

It’s a summer festival that will have everyone up and dancing in the sun with lace umbrellas.

For the seventh annual event a range of stalls will be selling the best of the best on the French food scene. Think oysters, fondue, macarons and pastries plus champagne by Laurent Perrier will be on-site. There will also be French beer for the men, rosé from Provence, reds and whites from Bordeaux, and special cocktails at the SFSC vintage caravan.

Picnic hampers will be available for pre-order for filled with roasted chicken or ratatouille baguettes to goose egg meringues and berry salad with cream fraiche, along with equally délicieux vegetarian and gluten free options.

We will be surprised if you recognise the French acts in the music line-up, however they have been carefully picked to show the representation of music in France right now. They’ll be your new favourite French bands by the end of the day.

The line-up includes, French rapper Féfé,  funk-meets-jazz artist General Elektriks, eclectic sound of Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains, the seductive sounds from Juniore and mesmerising harmonies, percussion and cello sounds from L.E.J.

'So French So Chic' will also be visiting Adelaide for the first time.

The festival currently has an early-bird offer happening until the end of this week (13th of October). There are limited tickets so head here to save 20 per cent off the door price.

Early-bird tickets are currently on sale for $79.

Standard tickets are $99, and children under 12 are free.
