OCRF White Shirt Campaign

By Lynette C April 10, 2019

The white shirt … it’s more than just a wardrobe staple, this white shirt can end ovarian cancer.

Ovarian cancer takes the life of one Australian woman every 8 hours. So, we are making a statement that’s bigger than fashion during the annual Witchery White Shirt Campaign.

A joint initiative of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) and Witchery, the White Shirt Campaign raises urgently-needed funds for ovarian cancer research.

There is currently no way of accurately detecting ovarian cancer early. That’s why almost all women are diagnosed at an advanced stage, when the five-year survival rate is just 20-25%.

Devastatingly, this disease claims the life of another Australian woman every eight hours. But your support can help change the statistics and save lives.

Visit Witchery instore or online between now and May 8 (White Shirt Day) to buy one of Witchery’s 8 exclusively designed white shirts and they’ll donate 100% of the proceeds to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

You can also host a White Shirt Day event at home or at work by signing up at, or make a direct donation to the campaign at

Wear a Witchery white shirt to show your support … and help find an early detection test.
