This IS the real life.
We're gonna be straight with you ‘cause there’s no time to joke: Queen have announced a massive Australian stadium tour.
Yes, they’ll be hitting all of the country’s main cities.
Yes, they’ll be performing their biggest hits.
Yes, original band members Bryan May and Roger Taylor will be there. And replacing (we use that term very loosely) Freddie Mercury as frontman is Adam Lambert.
Adam has been performing with Queen since about 2011 and has covered a number of major gigs, including the 2019 Oscars.
Freddie won’t be touring with Queen (for obvious reasons) while the band’s first bassist John Deacon left the group in 1997.
The band will tour in 2020 and the dates are:
Thursday, 13 February - Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Saturday, 15 February - ANZ Stadium, Sydney
Wednesday, 19 February - AAMI Park, Melbourne
Sunday, 23 February - Optus Stadium, Perth
Wednesday, 26 February - Adelaide Oval, Adelaide
Saturday, 29 February - Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast
