Next Wednesday is set to reach a balmy 28 degrees. Yay!

Sydney, prepare yourself for another bout of unseasonable warmth, as the bureau hands down the forecast for next Wednesday.

The mercury is set to peak at 28 degrees by next Wednesday, according to BOM.

Just to give you a bit of perspective, the August average for Sydney is usually around 18 degrees.

In the lead up, Sydney will cop some pretty glorious weather - low 20s - including Thursday, which will be 24.

Rob Sharpe, a meteorologist at Weatherzone told the Sydney Morning Herald -

"A dominant high pressure system is sitting near Brisbane, and we're going to see a series of fronts, one after the other, each dropping south.”
