The reason Adele lost it during her last Australian show

Adele was forced to stop mid-performance last night at Etihad stadium after a security guard told fans to sit down.

She told the man:

“Just before we go to the next song … excuse me sir? Could you stop telling people to sit down?”

“If you don’t like dancing, don’t come to a f***ing music show. If I see one more person get told to sit down, I swear to God.”

The singer also created a once-in-a-lifetime experience for two fans when she invited a man onstage after seeing him burst into tears while she sang her opening song ‘Hello’.

Normally, Adele will leave signed letters on some seats of the arena, but fell asleep yesterday afternoon so she decided to invite the fan onstage instead.

Chris and his partner Wade, joined the singer onstage, and surprising everyone in the arena, Wade got down on one knee to propose!

Adele told the crowd, “That wasn’t planned, I had no idea.”

An incredible night for the 77,300 fans!

Tributes roll in for legend Chuck Berry after his passing yesterday

Chuck Berry

Legendary musician Chuck Berry passed away on Saturday at the age of 90. Musicians of all genres and ages paid tribute to the performer with Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger writing:

“I am so sad to hear of Chuck Berry’s passing. I want to thank him for all the inspirational music he gave to us. He lit up our teenage years, and blew life into our dreams of being musicians and performers. His lyrics shone above others & threw a strange light on the American dream. Chuck you were amazing & your music is engraved inside us forever.”

Bruce Springsteen tweeted:

“Chuck Berry was rock’s greatest practitioner, guitarist, and the greatest pure rock ‘n’ roll writer who ever lived.”

Rod Stewart said in a statement:

“It started with Chuck Berry. The first album I ever bought was Chuck’s ‘Live at the Tivoli’ and I was never the same. He was more than a legend, he was a founding father. You can hear his influence in every rock ’n’ roll band from my generation on.”

Lenny Kravitz added:

“Hail Hail Chuck Berry!!! None of us would have been here without you. Rock on brother!”

Melbourne priest stabbed moments before saying mass

Rev Tomy Kalathoor Mathew, 48, was stabbed in the neck at St Matthew’s Church yesterday just moments before beginning the 11am Italian language mass yesterday.

The offender is believed to have told the priest that the attack was because he was Indian and therefore must be Hindu or Muslim and couldn’t say mass.

The priest is reportedly doing well in hospital and his thoughts are with his parishioners.

The attacker remains at large and is believed to be in his 50s.

Teenager lucky to be alive after fighting off crocodile

Lee De Paauw, 18, has fought off a crocodile after being dared to jump into a Queensland river infested with the reptiles. The croc latched onto his left arm as he swam in Queensland’s Johnstone River.

According to News.Com.Au, witness Sophie Paterson said the group egged the teen on after he bragged he wasn’t afraid of the croc-infested waters.

“It all happened very fast, pretty much as soon as he jumped in, there was splashing and screaming… There was blood everywhere and he just wouldn’t stop screaming.”

NSW set to be hit with more wild weather

This March has been one of the wettest on record after almost double the usual average of 130mm fell in New South Wales this month.

Rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue for at least the next six days.

This baby is going viral because she looks more like Ed Sheeran than Ed Sheeran!

The baby’s name is Isla Watson, and apparently, just like Ed, she loves to sing according to her Aunt Stacey, who told SunOnline:

“Everyone comments saying how shes [sic] a mini Ed, and I call her baby Sheeran.”

“She loves his music, tries to sing along to the words and has a dance.”

Cute! We’d love to see Ed and Isla do a little duet together one day, but to be honest we’re not sure we’re actually ready to see them in the same room at the same time!
