Such a great idea!

This week is the launch for freedom’s Price Drop and it’s the first phase of freedom’s ‘Everyday Value Promise’.

Basically, what it means is that the homewares franchise has dropped it’s prices for good avoiding the need to have sales.

It’s an ongoing commitment to authenticity in pricing, quality merchandise, and outstanding service.

The permanently reduced prices have been applied on more than 5,000 products across its range as the first step in a new customer-centric strategy.

Having long operated in a category dominated by endless cycles of high-low pricing and promotions, freedom has pledged to put integrity into its pricing and customers at the heart of its business.

Their aim is for shoppers to continue to save on sofas, mattresses, outdoor furniture, tableware and more at freedom, with the confidence that they are getting affordable prices 365 days a year.

• BROOKLYN 3 seat leather sofa, from $3399 to $2299

• OSKAR queen bed frame, from $899 to $599

• FRIEDA 160x90cm dining table, from $899 to $499

• KENZA 200x300cm rug in Ivory, from $899 to $699

• MASON floor lamp, from $349 to $199

Tim Schaafsma, Managing Director of freedom Australia says shopping can be frustrating for a consumer:

“We recognise that today consumers can be frustrated by the shopping experience.

“They are frustrated when they buy something and it goes on sale the next day, and they are frustrated when they find something they like but feel like they have to wait for it to go on sale.

“Our Everyday Value Promise is a shift in strategy for freedom; a move away from sporadic and potentially confusing sales promotions that have defined our category. A commitment to everyday prices, combined with our stylish, quality products and outstanding service, benefits consumers who will be better-informed and more confident when purchasing the furniture and homewares they want.”

In addition to new lower prices, freedom’s Everyday Value Promise includes the following:

• Built To Last: 10 year warranty on sofa frames; 2 year warranty for furniture, upholstery,

furniture coverings, foam, finishing and recliner mechanisms.

• Peace of Mind: 60 night comfort promise on all mattresses, so if within 60 nights of taking

delivery of your mattress, you don’t find it totally comfortable, we’ll exchange it for a new

one of equal or lesser value.

• Three feels, one price: We don’t discriminate on price for our quality mattress range.

Customers pay the same, whether they want a firm, medium or plush mattress.

• Take It Now: Interest free finance options, available everyday.

• Interior decorating service: our team of freedom interior decorators can assist in store, or

visit your home and help you find fresh, inspiring ways to make the most of your space – as

well as your budget.

• Shop how you like: in-store, online and mobile.

So get shopping!
