We’ve collated 10 must remembers to make your trip easier and less stressful.

1. A light scarf - it can be used as a sarong, you can cover your shoulders for temple sight seeing and it could work as a cosy blanket for the flight.

2. A good neck pillow. We recommend the Trtl. 

3. Journal. But don’t put too much pressure on yourself to write long entries. Try just dot-pointing so you don't forget the special moments that happen.

4. Travel with someone you can fight with. Look, you don't want to fight with people when you travel but if you're travelling for a long period of time, it's inevitable. So travel with someone who you make up easy with. 

5. Diversify your accommodation. Go cheap but also go splurge yourself and go luxury too.

6. Get out into nature. Nature re-energises you, so if you're feeling tired get out in the sun.

7. Talk to people, be open to everyone but trust your gut if someone doesn't seem right.

8. Travel alone. It's a great way to get to know a city without having to rely on anyone.

9. Buying souvenirs. It's so easy to get caught up in a store filled with cheap looking items but you want to bring home something special. Take what you like away from the pack and look at it as an individual to decide where you could see it in your home.  

10. Start the vacation the second you leave your house, the journey is part of the fun so if your plane is delayed or cancel, stay calm. After all, you're on vacation.
