Eek!

A 31-year-old man has appeared in Westminster Magistrates Court charged with terror offences related to the young Prince George.

Husnain Rashid is charged with preparing to commit terrorist acts and assisting others to commit acts if terror after sharing a picture of Prince George and his school address in a "terror guide".

He is accused of sharing the address of the young Prince's prestigious school with the words, "Even the Royal Family won't be left alone," using the app Telegram.

The app has been called a 'breeding ground' for terrorists with the app being used to spread propaganda by the ISIS extremists behind the 2015 Paris attacks. It also used to recruit the people responsible for the Christmas market attack in Berlin and to claim credit for the massacre.

According to News.com.au, prosecutor Rebecca Munday has said the offending post included “photo of the young Prince George at the beginning of the school term next to a silhouette of an ISIS fighter.”

Barry Spielman, whose Internet surveillance company Sixgill is tracking Telegram told The Daily Star:

“Now we are seeing explicit threats. It seems that as Isis continues to lose ground in Syria and Iraq, it has stepped up its threats to hit the West.”

Rashid has also been accused of attempting to incite attacks on sports arenas and the Jewish community.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Alex Bomberg, a former Royal Aide and CEO of close protection firm Intelligent Protection International, told the Independent how every senior member of the Royal Family has been through training around this situation including Meghan Markle.

“If you can imagine her being put into a room, being treated as if she was a hostage, the room being stormed by the SAS, she will be put through that training,” he said.

“They would also receive training about how to behave without close protection i.e. what they might do if things go wrong.”
