A Chocolate Ale is coming to Sydney

Chocolate + Beer...what more could you ask for?

Endeavour Beer, local artesian Sydney Chocolate have teamed up with smoothfm to bring a ‘smooth Chocolate Ale’ to the people of Sydney. This once-in-a-lifetime brew has been crafted exclusively for the smooth Festival of Chocolate in The Rocks.

An innovative blend of classic flavours, the sweet collaboration begins as a malty ‘mash’ that Endeavour’s head Brewer JB has created with malt, hot water and roasted barley varieties making a golden elixir that develops the taste of chocolate and caramel.

Topaz hops bring the spice, enhancing the chocolatey goodness of the malt. It's an adventure of flavour developed by fusing Dutch processed cocoa into the crafting process to become the hero flavour of the beer.

Thirsty yet?

As Endeavour explains, a full mouthfeel is achieved by offsetting the richness of the cocoa, chocolate and roasted malts with the hops bitterness and a layer of sweetness, leaving you wanting for another taste.

You can try the smooth Chocolate Ale at the Mr Black Espresso Martini Bar at the smooth Festival of Chocolate in the Rocks on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 August.

Find the bar on the lawn in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art (Tallawoladah Place), open 11 am – 6 pm daily.

Endeavour Tap Rooms in The Rocks will also be serving up the mouth-frothing ale for the weekend of the festival only.
