Just in time for the show this Saturday

With just four days until show time, SBS and production partner Blink TV have announced the final two songs for ‘Eurovision – Australia Decides’.

Sheppard will sing the ultimate love song On My Way, while ARIA award-winner Tania Doko’s Piece of Me is full of heart.

Sheppard shared, “On My Way is about someone craving the uncontrollable heat and passion they feel when they are with the one they love.”

“It’s about excitedly making their way to reunite with their lover, wherever that may be in the world. We love it because it’s quite musically complex, but very easy to listen to.”

Tania Doko also shared the importance of her song.

“As the song suggests, I am giving Aussie audiences a Piece of Me, and for me that’s pretty special as I’ve been living in Sweden for ten years and I genuinely miss performing in Australia,” she said.

“We live in a fast-paced world, and we can all feel like everyone wants a piece of us. But at the end of the day, what’s it all for? Who represents home? Sometimes we forget the ‘why’ and take those closest for granted.”

‘Eurovision – Australia Decides’ will give Aussies the power to decide who will go on to represent the country in the official Eurovision competition in May 2019.

Other artists who have been confirmed for Saturday’s airing of ‘Eurovision – Australia Decides’ are Alfie Arcuri, Electric Fields, Courtney Act and more

Also joining the star-studded line-up for an epic half-time performance is Australian Eurovision royalty Dami Im who returns to the Eurovision stage after claiming second place in Sweden in 2016 with her power ballad Sound of Silence.

Hosted by radio host and music buff Myf Warhurst, and comedian Joel Creasey, ‘Eurovision – Australia Decides’ will air on SBS on Saturday 9 February, 7.30pm AEST.
