A high-end cabaret is coming to the Sydney Opera house

By Krisinda Merhi December 7, 2018

French glamour, risqué humour and spectacular aerials included

Blanc de Blanc Encore is the brand-new, high-end cabaret spectacle from the masterminds behind Blanc de Blanc (2016), Cantina and the Helpmann Award-nominated Limbo Unhinged

The show offers a refined blend of vintage French glamour, risqué humour, spectacular aerials, comedy, dazzling dance numbers and acrobatics.

Sound exciting? We bet!

The show will transform Sydney Opera House’s studio over summer 2019 with opulent, cheeky, edge-of-your-seat theatre.

Who said shows are boring?

Blanc de Blanc Encore features choreography by Kevin Maher (whose clients include Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez and Jason Derulo).

The set and lighting is designed by Philip Gladwell, the same mastermind behind the staging of Magic Mike London and Magic Mike Las Vegas… enough said.

Performers come from all around the world and boast skills like tap dancing, aerial acrobatics, aerial hoops, burlesque and clowning.

It’s a little bit cheeky and a little bit exotic and promises a great night out.

But if you’re planning on attending (and you’d be silly not to) there’s two criteria you need to meet:

  1. Dress to impress: immerse yourself in the party atmosphere by wearing vintage white with a dash of sparkle
  2. Be 18 years-old or more (sorry youngsters, this one’s not for you)

Blanc de Blanc Encore will premiere at the Sydney Opera House from January 4, 2019. Buy tickets at sydneyoperahouse.com.
