The role of Jack has also been cast.

Jack And The Beanstalk is one of the most beloved fairytales in the world, and now a special 3D production is coming to Australian stages.

The show will be a ‘giant 3D’ musical spectacular featuring pantomime comedy and amazing 3D sets which will transport audiences right into the giant's lair.

Director Bonnie Lythgoe said, “I am always searching for new excitement from the UK Panto world and Jack is one of the best ways to showcase this wonderful concept. I think audiences will adore everything about this amazing panto, especially the amazing 3D effects.”

Hi-5 favourite Lachlan Dearing has been cast to play the role of “Jack” and music theatre favourite Lucy Durack will star as the Fairy Crystal (Spirit Of The Beans).

“I have been admiring Lucy from afar and always hoped she would become a cast member and now my wish has come true,” Bonnie said.

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK - a ‘GIANT’ 3D musical spectacular will show at Sydney’s State Theatre from Friday 12 to Sunday 21 July 2019. Visit statetheatre.com.au for more information.
