McDonald's is releasing a brand new burger today and it looks delish

By Stephanie Nuzzo March 21, 2018

It’s a “world first”.

Burger-lovers, listen up because McDonald’s is launching a new burger featuring 100 per cent Aussie-bred Wagyu beef.

The Wagyu Beef Burger hits Maccas stores nationally today (March 21st) at 10:30am and will be available while stocks last.

On the news, Jenni Dill, Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s Australia said:

“It’s exciting for us to be able to serve up a world first McDonald’s burger that centres on an ingredient we know Australians love – 100 per cent Australian-bred wagyu beef. I love the taste of this newest addition to our menu, and am sure our customers will too. But they’ll need to get in quick before we sell out!”

Now, onto the good stuff… What’s in this bad boy?

Glad you asked.

The new burger is served on a brand-new bun, with a “specially created sauce”, crispy bacon strips, caramelised onion, tomato, lettuce, and a slice of cheddar cheese.

If you want to get your hands on this dish, move fast. Lines are going to be looooonnnggg today.
