BRB moving to Switzerland

We’ve probably all had the thought every once and a while to just pack everything up and move to a new city or new country. Well, if you need a push, Deutsche Bank has found the cities that, on average, offer the highest salaries.

Deutsche Bank’s annual ‘Mapping the world’s prices’ report looks at the cost of goods, services, living and average earning figures for cities around the world.

We’re pretty lucky to have two Australian cities in the top ten with Melbourne at number 7 and Sydney at number 6 – so if you want to move and you’re not in one of those cities you don’t have to go too far for more cash!

It seems as though global banking centre Zurich, Switzerland is the place to be though, with the city topping the list with monthly average salaries sitting at $7980 AUD.

The full list is as follows:

24. Edinburgh, UK - $3100

23. Ottawa, Canada - $3320

22. Amsterdam, Netherlands - $3390

21. Toronto, Canada - $3478
